The Packard Plant was at one time the largest manufacturing plant in the world. Left to its own devices in the 1950's, small businesses continued to operate within its walls through the early 2000s. Now, it is just a shell of what once was. Demolition commenced on the plant in 2022, and has now been completed. The only part left is a slice of the admin building on the north side of East Grand Blvd.
