The Cadillac Stamping Plant had been sitting abandoned since General Motors shuttered it in 1989. It was used by Ivan Doverspike Tooling Corp for a period of time, and then once again became vacant. However, after sitting vacant for many years, it was finally demolished in 2021. Lear Corporation build a new factory on its footprint.
