The art-deco infused Fisher Building was designed by Albert Kahn, the most famous Detroit architect. The Fisher Brothers, who at the time owned the automotive Fisher Body Corporation, wanted to build a building that would be a legacy to the city, where they literally "spared no expense". Definitely should be on your Detroit list to visit if you haven't already!
